For the guests who arrive from the Highway A1 - Milano, Bologna, Firenze:
- Leave the Highway through the Exit Firenze Signa, take the Superstrada
S.G.C. Firenze, Pisa Livorno ( in the direction of Pise - Lavern)
- Continue about 30km and take the exit Empoli Ovest
- Keep on the right following the road signs to Ponte a Elsa, Castelfiorentino
and Siena
- Pass the traffic lights at Ponte a Elsa in the direction of Siena
- Go as far as Castelfiorentino (18 km) and follow the road signs
to Montaione
- Just at the beginning of Montaione (10km), turn right following
the road sign to San Vivaldo, Castelfalfi
- From San Vivaldo (8km) turn right towards the village, go past it,
after about 3km you get to Iano
For the guests coming from the highway A12 - Genova, Livorno:
- Leave the Highway at Pisa Centro (aeroporto G. Galilei), continue
on the Superstrada S.G.C. Firenze, Pisa, Livorno towards Firenze
- Exit at Pontedera (25km)
- Keep left following the road signs to Volterra, pass over the villages
of Cava and Treggiaia
- Turn left to Forcoli, go past it and continue towards Castelfalfi,
Montaione, San Gimignano
- Reach Castelfalfi (10 km)
- Continue to San Vivaldo (5 km)
- Go past the village , you will reach Borgoiano 3 km away
For the guests who come from the Highway A1 - Roma:
- Leave the highway at exit Valdichiana ( the next exit after Chiusi
- Chianciano terme) and continue on the strada statale until Siena
(40 km)
- Follow the road signs to Florence to get onto the Superstrada del
Palio as far as the exit Poggibonsi Centro and follow the road signs
to San Gimignano (10 km)
- Skirt round the town centre and turn left after about 2km following
the road signs to Montaione, Gambassi and Villamagna
- Continue for about 12km as far as Il Castagno, go past the village
and turn left towards San Vivaldo and Castelfalfi
- Get to San Vivaldo (5km), turn left, go past the village, go on
for about 3km and get to Iano.
